Pharrell is Having a Baby

From NY Post: Pharrell Williams is about to become a daddy. The lead singer of N.E.R.D. and Neptunes producer has impregnated a model type he met with friends in Miami this year. More Restaurants Going Green

The Green movement has really taken off big time in the United States. More and more you see less fatty foods on a menu, and more green options. I’ve been noticing more and more that fast food restaurants are changing their ways and putting all the calorie information on their menus. As the American diet is slowly changing from burgers and fries to salads and green veggies you have to wonder how you can go green even more.

One of things you really must do is pick the right source for your food. Shamrock Food Services is just one source of really good and natural foods that you can use in your business. They provide the freshest canned and frozen fruits for the restaurant business. Their brands include Brickfire Bakery, Bountiful Harvest, AspenGold, and many other brands. So if your about to start a food business then you need to check out Shamrock Food Service for your needs.

If your looking for Food Service Phoenix, Food Service Denver, or Food Service Albuquerque then set up an appointment with Shamrock Food Services and have them starting bringing your their quality food products to your business.

Can you join *Nas* to deliver petitions to Fox headquarters in Midtown?

Dear New York Area ColorOfChange.org member,

More than half a million people have joined the effort to call on Fox
to end their race-baiting and fear-mongering! It’s an amazing response.
We’re taking the campaign to the next step: at Fox News Headquarters in
Manhattan, hip hop artist Nas–who has a new track calling out Fox’s
racism and fear-mongering–will join ColorOfChange.org members and our
allies to deliver the petitions and our message in front of news
cameras. Click here to RSVP:

http://colorofchange.org/foxdelivery/?id=2244-125725

Where: News Corp. Building (home of Fox News), 1211 Avenue of the Americas (6th Ave), @48th St in Manhattan

When: Wednesday, July 23rd at 2pm, gathering at 1:45pm

Who: Nas with ColorOfChange.org and MoveOn.org members deliver over 620,000 signed petitions to FOX

More Info: We’ll gather in the plaza on 48th St., just north of the Fox building, a couple hundred feet west of 6th Ave.

You can help make history. Never before has Fox or any other
media organization been confronted by this many Black voices and
allies. Participating is easy. Just make your way to 48th St and 6th
Ave.

This won’t be the end of our campaign. If other media outlets
cover us delivering over half-a-million petition signatures, FOX’s
advertisers will get the hint that it’s not a good idea to associate
their products with Fox’s hate-speech. But we need a crowd to make this
event as powerful as possible.

We hope you can join us. To RSVP, click here:

Thanks and Peace,

– James, Gabriel, Clarissa, Andre, Kai and the rest of the ColorOfChange.org team

Have you seen Jeanne Burke Please HELP!

From UptownFlavor:

These stories make me sad. Another senior
has gone missing in the neighborhood. With the weather being
unbearable during these dog days of summer I’m sure her family is
worried sick.

MYFOXNY.COM — The family of a missing woman are asking for the
public’s help. Jeanne Burke has been missing since July 17, her family
said. She was possibly spotted two days later in front of the Pathmark
supermarket on 125th Street and Lexington Avenue in Harlem.

Burke, 79, has Alzheimer’s disease but will respond to her name. She
is 5 feet tall with long gray hair (possibly in a pony tail), and was
last seen wearing a solid navy shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

The family has offered a reward for Burke’s safe return. If anyone has any information on her whereabouts they can call 646-372-6510, 718-810-6176 or 845-527-0172.
